Plan your week in fifteen minutes

A short Monday reset beats a long to-do list. Three questions turn a scattered week into a calm one.

Kerythos team · July 2, 2026

Most weeks do not go sideways because you worked too little. They go sideways because you never decided what mattered most, so every request felt equally urgent. Fifteen minutes on Monday fixes that.

The three questions

Sit down before the noise starts and answer these:

  1. What is the one job that must ship this week? Not five jobs. One. If nothing else got done, this is the thing you would still be glad you finished.
  2. What gets me paid? Invoices to send, quotes to follow up, work that turns into cash. Money work rarely feels urgent, so it gets skipped. Name it now.
  3. What can wait, or go away entirely? Half of a normal list is noise. Cross it off on purpose, not by accident at 6pm on Friday.

Put it where your hands are

A plan you cannot see is a plan you will forget. Write the three answers somewhere you actually look: the top of a notebook, a sticky note on the screen, the first line of your day.

A week without a priority is not a free week. It is a week that lets other people set yours.

Then protect it. When a new request lands, hold it against the one job that must ship. If it does not help, it waits.

Close the loop on Friday

Spend two minutes at the end of the week. Did the one job ship? What slipped, and why? You are not grading yourself, you are teaching yourself how your real weeks behave, so next Monday's plan is sharper.

This is not about doing more. It is about doing the right thing first, while you still have the energy for it.

Block fifteen minutes next Monday morning right now, before the week fills up on its own.
